In case you’re not up on the latest acronyms, that stands for “away from keyboard”.
I’ve been rather quiet the last few weeks and am fixin’ to get even quieter. My shoulder is horribly painful and working/playing on the computer makes it worse. (In case you haven’t been following, just search “adhesive capsulitis” to find out what I’ve been dealing with since March.) After trying virtually all non-invasive therapies known with no results, they’ve finally scheduled my surgery for tomorrow, 31st July.
Yeah, yeah, I know. Never schedule surgery during Mercury retrograde. I can’t wait another week-plus to start finally getting better. So if you’d kindly put in a good word with your chosen deity or just keep a good thought for me, I’d appreciate it.
Today will be crazy: trying to clean up my client work, pre-surgery appointment with the surgeon, picking up prescriptions (oooh, narcotics!), and getting “finger food” for a few dinners (I suck at using a fork with my left hand). At least there’s the Olympics to keep me occupied while my arm is in a “very large sling”. Go Team USA!
“See” ya when I can type again!
